The Australian Waratah Girls’ Choir is an independent, incorporated Christian-based Not-For-Profit organisation. It is managed by Artistic Director, Lindy Connett with the aid of an elected, voluntary committee of community members. The choir has charity status with the Australian Charities and Not-For-Profits Commission.
Like many community-based groups, we encourage and rely on participation from all members. There are many avenues for involvement ranging from small occasional help to a more specific and regular commitments. Please let us know how you can help!
- Performances – set up, supervision, front of house, box office, pack up, event coordination
- Camps – overnight supervision, meal preparation
- Promotions and Advertising – graphic design, photography, video, media liaison
- Fundraising – coordination, practical assistance at specific events
All adult volunteers are subject to a Working With Children’s Check with the NSW Office of the Children’s Guardian.
